Income from abroad

Georgia taxes individuals on Georgian-source income. Foreign-source personal income is generally exempt for residents, subject to conditions.

IT exports

Virtual Zone status can exempt qualifying IT services sold abroad from profit tax. Eligibility is assessed by the authority.

Can I set up without moving to Georgia?

Yes. You start online and we prepare everything for you. If your profile needs a visit or notarised documents, we tell you upfront and organise it with you.

Who is the IE for?

Freelancers, consultants, small agencies, creators, affiliate marketers and online businesses run by one person with international clients. Working with partners, hiring a team or reinvesting profits? The Georgian LLC Operating Setup is built for that. Not sure? Use the route finder above.

How do the 0% and 1% regimes work?

Micro Business Status (0%) covers eligible activities up to GEL 30,000 a year with no employees. Small Business Status (1% on turnover) applies up to GEL 500,000 a year for eligible activities. We check your activity and support the application; the Revenue Service makes the final decision. Your home-country tax rules still apply.

What will I pay in total?

Your package fee is fixed. Government fees and any third-party costs are listed line by line in your quote, so you see the full total before you pay anything. Accounting starts at €59/month.

Do I need a work permit?

It depends on your activity, contracts and where you work from. IE + Work Route includes a right-to-work review and coordinates the application with a licensed lawyer. The authority makes the final decision.

Can you help me open a bank account?

Yes. IE Operating Base includes one prepared application to a Georgian bank or payment provider, plus follow-up within the agreed scope. The bank makes the final decision and may request more information or decline; a complete file improves your chances but is not a guarantee.

What happens after I send my request?

You get a written recommendation by email: the route that fits, what is included and excluded, and your total price. No call, no commitment, no passport or bank documents at this stage. Approve it in writing and we start.
