Setting up in Georgia as a non-resident.
You live elsewhere, or you are planning a move. Registration, tax status, banking, right to work and residence are separate processes with separate rules. We take them in the right order and in writing.
Who we are
STRATA is a coordination desk run by David Alezra, with a partner on the ground in Tbilisi. We set up Georgian companies for international entrepreneurs, in writing: scope, exclusions and price before you pay, and a business file you keep. Licensed Georgian lawyers and accountants take the regulated steps; banks and authorities decide.
Does this sound like you?
- You live outside Georgia and want a Georgian structure without moving.
- Or you are planning to spend real time in Georgia and want the right to work sorted.
- You are unsure what registering changes about your taxes at home.
- You want one desk that keeps the sequence straight.
The route that probably fits
IE + Work Route · €2,490 one-time

Questions we hear from non-residents & relocators
Does a Georgian company make me a Georgian tax resident?
No. Registration, tax status, right to work, residence permits and tax residency are separate processes with separate rules.
Can I register before I arrive?
Yes, under power of attorney. The right-to-work question is reviewed before you start working from Georgia.
What about my taxes at home?
They continue to apply according to your home-country rules. We flag this; we do not advise on it.
General information, not an individual legal or tax opinion. Eligibility for any status, account or permit is decided by the relevant authority or provider.
