A Georgian base for freelancers and consultants.
You invoice international clients from your laptop. You want a clean structure, a bank that works and someone who answers in writing. That is what we set up.
Who we are
STRATA is a coordination desk run by David Alezra, with a partner on the ground in Tbilisi. We set up Georgian companies for international entrepreneurs, in writing: scope, exclusions and price before you pay, and a business file you keep. Licensed Georgian lawyers and accountants take the regulated steps; banks and authorities decide.
Does this sound like you?
- You bill clients in Europe, the US or the Gulf, mostly in EUR or USD.
- You work alone, with no employees and no partners.
- You are tired of a home-country structure that costs more than it gives.
- You would rather not fly anywhere to sign a form.
The route that probably fits
IE Operating Base · €1,490 one-time
Most freelancers need to get paid and stay compliant, so the route with one bank application and an accountant handover fits. If you only need the registration first, IE Launch is the lean start.
Alternative: IE Launch · €690. Your written recommendation confirms which one.

Questions we hear from freelancers & consultants
Do I need to visit Georgia?
Usually not to register: we file under power of attorney. Some bank or document routes need a visit or originals; your written recommendation says so before you pay.
Will consulting qualify for the 1% status?
Many consulting activities do, some do not. We classify your actual work and tell you in writing. The authority decides.
Can I keep living where I am?
Yes. Your home-country tax rules keep applying; a Georgian registration does not change them. We say this clearly rather than promise otherwise.
General information, not an individual legal or tax opinion. Eligibility for any status, account or permit is decided by the relevant authority or provider.
